Double FreeCell Solitaire - Two Deck Challenge
Double FreeCell takes the skill-based solitaire classic and doubles the deck. You get 104 cards, 8 free cells, and 10 tableau columns to orchestrate flawless, stutter-free moves.
How to Play Double FreeCell
Move all 104 cards to the eight foundation piles, building each suit from Ace to King. Use the 8 free cells for temporary storage and build the tableau down by alternating colors.
| Area | Count | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Free cells | 8 | Single-card parking spots that power supermoves |
| Foundations | 8 (two per suit) | Build Ace → King to win |
| Tableau columns | 10 | Build down in alternating colors |
| Decks | 2 (104 cards) | All cards dealt face up for zero luck |
Supermove Power
Supermoves let you slide multiple cards at once as a shortcut. Capacity scales with empty cells and columns:
Formula: (Empty Cells + 1) × 2Empty Columns
With 3 empty cells and 2 empty columns you can move up to 12 cards in one gesture.
Strategy Tips
- Keep cells empty to preserve supermove power
- Create empty tableau columns early; they double your move reach
- Advance all suits evenly across the eight foundations
- Surface Aces and low cards quickly for foundation acceleration
Why Double FreeCell?
Twice the cards means deeper planning. With 8 cells and 10 columns, the game rewards smart sequencing and disciplined space management.
