Play Crazy Eights Online For Free

Crazy Eights is a shedding card game for two to seven players. This four-player browser version follows the common rule pattern used for larger tables: use a standard 52-card deck, deal five cards to each player, turn one card up as the discard, and try to be first to empty your hand.

Goal

Play all of your cards before the opponent. On your turn, play a card that matches the current rank or suit, or play any eight as a wild card.

Wild Eights

An eight can be played at any time. After an eight is played, the player declares the suit that must be followed next. This version chooses the best suit automatically from your remaining hand.

Drawing

If you cannot play, draw from the stock until you find a playable card or the stock is exhausted. When the stock runs out, all played cards except the top discard are reshuffled into a new stock.

Scoring

When a player empties their hand, they score the cards left around the table. Eights count 50, court cards count 10, aces count 1, and number cards count face value. The first player to 100 points wins this match.

Strategy Tips

Save eights for turns where you cannot match the suit or need to switch into a suit you control. Low cards are safer to hold, while eights and face cards become expensive if the opponent goes out first.
