Classic Spades

The standard partnership game: bid your tricks, work with your partner, watch your bags, and race to 500 points.

Your bid is the number of spades in your hand. There is no comfortable lower bid, so the deal immediately shapes the round.

Bid your spade count or go Nil. Whiz is a sharper bidding variant because weak hands can become serious nil attempts.

Every partnership has one Nil bidder and one 4+ contract bidder. The whole hand becomes a cover-and-attack problem.
