Objective

Your mission is to unite the Queen of Hearts with the King of Hearts by removing all 50 cards that stand between them. It's a romantic puzzle — bringing the royal couple together!

This classic patience game is also known as "Betrothal" or "The Royal Wedding."

Setup

  • The Queen of Hearts (Q♥) is placed at the far left
  • The remaining 50 cards are shuffled and dealt in a row
  • The King of Hearts (K♥) is placed at the far right

Your task is to clear a path between them by eliminating cards through matching.

Rules

To remove cards, you must find two cards that:

  • Gap Rule: Have exactly 1 OR 2 cards between them.
  • Matching Rule: Share the same Suit OR the same Rank.
  • When you select two matching cards with a valid gap, the cards BETWEEN them are removed.

Strategy Tips

  • Maximize Removals: When possible, choose matches with 2-card gaps to remove two cards at once.
  • Work from Both Ends: Focus on clearing cards near both the Queen and King.
  • Watch for Hearts: Any Heart can match with the Queen or King of Hearts by suit.
  • Queens and Kings: Other Queens match with Q♥ by rank, and other Kings match with K♥.
