How to Play Mrs. Mop Solitaire

Mrs. Mop is a two-deck open-information Spider relative invented by Charles Jewell, played across thirteen visible columns. See the Mrs. Mop win rate for realistic expectations.

Rules

  • Deal all 104 cards face up into 13 columns of 8 cards each.
  • Build down by rank regardless of suit.
  • Move single cards, or move same-suit descending packets as one unit.
  • Any card can fill an empty column.
  • Complete and remove eight same-suit K→A runs to win.

Strategy

Creating empty columns early dramatically improves maneuvering. Two spaces helps; four spaces often unlocks near-complete conversion lines.
