How It Works

How Today's Daily Solitaire Deal Works

Each Daily Solitaire Challenge uses the date and game mode to select an official, visible seed number. That means everyone who plays Turn 1 today gets the same Turn 1 deal, and everyone who plays Turn 3 today gets the same Turn 3 deal.

Official daily deals are selected because they can be won. The daily board ranks solved games by best time first, then moves, then points, so the fair chase is who can finish today's shared Klondike hand most cleanly.

Today's date creates a visible seed number, so every player sees the same starting cards for that mode.

Clear Goal

Win the hand with careful moves. Turn 1 is easier; Turn 3 is the harder chase.
